I love salsa. And bachata too… BAchata is sexier to dance. But Salsa with all the spins look nicer.

My Salsa is stronger than my Bachata but I love the sexiness of Bachata. Also I have more people I dance Salsa with. I need to have the right girl to dance Bachata with. If she’s too shy about dancing up close, then it’s not as much fun.

so im definitely joining cross country but i dont kwno if i should try for the bachata club( some kind of hispanic dance) would that be too much like the schedule or how tired i would be of cross country practices and then go dance bachata for an hour.

If it is too much like (?) the schedule or would you be too tired after cross country for an hour of bachata dance depends on you and you might only be able to answer that after you go to cross country practice and then go to bachata. Bachata is a dance like any other, a club at school might discuss or teach some of the cultural aspects such as that it is a Hispanic dance, originated in the Dominican Republic, but has spread to many other Hispanic nations. The vairations it might have taken on in those nations, how people dressed historically to dance bachata and how they dress now. All that aside from playing appropriate music and an instructor teaching you the moves and steps.

Kenia Social Dances a great bachata with Ataca Jorgie from Island Touch Dance Company. This occurred in Tampa at the first Tampa Thunder Social weekend. This was the friday night event, at the weekly Island Touch social & classes.
